Every applicant leaves with a clear readiness picture
Knowing your AI readiness helps your board and staff see what is already strong, where the gaps are, and what to do next. That clarity has value whether or not you join the cohort.
Apply in three steps: create your free TappHQ account at tapphq.com/dcf, complete your AI readiness assessment, and explore your results. You receive a readiness category and a practical next-step picture. Selected organizations build from that baseline. Organizations that are not selected still keep the diagnostic and remain on the free tier of the platform from kickoff.
Capacity built to last
AI returns hours when systems, data, and support are in place. A funded year of configuration, training, and one-to-one help gives your team working tools and a path to continue on your own operating budget after the funded year.
The Nonprofit AI Capacity Cohort is a Delaware Community Foundation program for twenty Delaware 501(c)(3) organizations, with Tapp Network as the implementation partner.
What the twenty selected organizations receive
AI readiness assessment and readiness report
A baseline across readiness areas, plus a diagnostic of strengths, gaps, risks, and a practical next path. Every applicant gets a category. Selected organizations build from that baseline.
Twelve months of funded platform access
Access to the platform for the funded year, with no charge to your organization during that year.
A configured workspace
Your workspace is set up and seeded with information you already have. Your team adds knowledge and daily use so the system becomes yours.
Core systems matched to your work
Initial setup of selected systems such as GrantsHQ, ComplianceHQ, TappIQ, ContentHQ, StakeholderHQ, LearningHQ, and SupportHQ, plus reporting views. You start where it matches your work and pilot one system or one workflow first.
An AI assistant and ready-made agents
Plain-language help drafting, summarizing, and answering questions from your own approved information. More than 200 ready-made agents built for nonprofit departments. You can build additional agents as use expands.
Cohort training
Group onboarding. Monthly cohort webinars. Quarterly in-person sessions in Delaware. An always-on library of guides, recordings, and walkthroughs inside the platform.
Five hours of dedicated one-to-one support
Onboarding, configuration guidance, training, and hands-on help with Tapp Network consultants. Group webinars and cohort sessions do not draw down those hours.
Policy, guardrails, and reassessment
Plain-language AI use policy, data handling rules, and human oversight standards your board can adopt. Human approval before writes that change your records. An end-of-cohort reassessment so you can show what changed.
After the funded year
The goal is that your organization can continue on its own operating budget.
The platform behind the cohort
The work runs on a nonprofit operating platform built for small and mid-size organizations. It is a secure workspace for documents and program information, with AI systems for grants, compliance, communications, stakeholder management, onboarding, and support, plus an AI assistant and ready-made nonprofit agents.
That platform is TappHQ, from Tapp Network. You create your free TappHQ account there, then complete the readiness assessment. Selected organizations keep building inside the same environment.
Guided self-build: Tapp Network configures and seeds what is available. Your team supplies knowledge and daily use.
